News Chyrons

For this project, I was tasked to create news chyrons for a fictitious news report for a self-invented news outlet and it had to be in the lower third of the image. I saw the project as an opportunity to incorporate world building, and so I set the news to take place in a science fiction setting. I wanted the fictional news to have commonalities to our world with that the news goes over; disasters/accidents, bureaucratic gears slowly turning, and societal conflict, but exaggerated to an extent as to fit the scale of this far future.
